A Quebec product, this hop comes from the Double LL farm in St-Édouard-de-Lotbinière.

The Columbus is a descendant of the Nugget. This hop contains a lot of alpha acid and is mainly used as a bittering agent. It is often referred to as "CTZ", a trio of three extremely similar hops (Columbus, Tomahawk, Zeus).

Aromas: Black pepper, liquorice, citrus, resinous, acrid.
