The famous Sabro hop is also known as HBC 438 or less officially "Ron Mexico" due to its neomexicanus heritage. It is a product of the Hop Breeding Company along with Citra, Mosaic, Simcoe, Ekuanot and many other hops. Sabro has a strong aromatic potential made up of a complex blend of fruit and citrus. Distinct flavors of tangerine, coconut, tropical fruit and stone fruit mingle with notes of cedar, mint and cream.
