Spectrum Hops Extract is 100% natural and 100% derived from hops. It is prepared from hop pellets according to specific extractions. No additive, solvent or carrier is added to the formulation. The hop extract obtained is easily dispersible in beer and constitutes an alternative of choice to standard dry hopping products.
Spectrum does not contain iso alpha acids, but (like pellets) it does contain non-isomerized alpha acids which, in high doses, or when added late can increase bitterness, especially in hazy beers
Dosing :
The replacement ratio for T-90 pellets with Spectrum is typically 1:5 to 1:8, depending on the application. As iso-α acid losses are reduced when dry hopping with Spectrum, bitterness may need to be adjusted accordingly.
Storage :
Sealed pouches should be stored at 5-15°C and used within 12 months. Avoid lower temperatures as this may cause product crystallization and affect dispersibility.
