10" plastic sampling cylinder - Fermtech
Fermtech 10" hydrometer measuring cylinder
Easily and accurately measure the gravity of your wort and beer with the Fermtech 10-inch measuring cylinder. Specially designed for home and professional brewers, this essential accessory lets you check the original gravity (OG) and final gravity (FG) of your batches using a hydrometer.
Made from high-quality acrylic that offers excellent clarity, this measuring cylinder makes the hydrometer graduations clear and easy to read. Its sturdy design features an impact-resistant base securely attached to the tube, ensuring excellent stability during measurements.
Thanks to its narrow, elongated shape, it lets you take gravity readings using a smaller amount of wort or beer, reducing waste.
Why choose the Fermtech measuring cylinder?

How do you use your hydrometer measuring cylinder?
-
Take a sample of wort or beer and let it cool to a temperature suitable for your hydrometer.
-
Carefully pour the sample into the cylinder, leaving enough room to prevent spills.
-
Gently insert your hydrometer into the liquid and let it float freely without touching the bottom or sides.
-
Once the hydrometer has stabilized, take the reading at eye level, following your instrument's instructions.
-
Record the measured gravity to track fermentation progress or calculate your beer's alcohol content.
An essential tool for monitoring your fermentation
Measuring gravity is an important step in brewing beer. By comparing the original gravity (OG) measured before fermentation with the final gravity (FG) measured afterward, you can estimate your beer's alcohol content and assess your yeast's performance.
Whether you're brewing an IPA, lager, stout or wheat beer, the Fermtech 10" measuring cylinder lets you take measurements simply and efficiently.
A practical, durable and essential accessory for consistent results with every brew!
