Barbe Rouge hops are a new variety grown in Alsace, in northeastern France. Le Barbe Rouge stands out with its pleasant and delicate aromas of ripe red fruits such as strawberry, raspberry, blackcurrant and cherry. This hop also has a slightly citrus side balanced by herbaceous, spicy and bubblegum notes.
It pairs well with American hops in IPA or Neipa recipes while being delicate enough to use in lagers.
