Use: Dual purpose
The Tango hop is a modern German variety (developed around 2020) resulting from a cross between Cascade and Hallertauer Tradition. It stands out with a more expressive and contemporary profile, developing distinct citrus notes, especially orange and grapefruit, accompanied by tropical and slightly resinous nuances. It is a versatile (dual-purpose) hop with a high oil content, ideal for late boil hopping or dry hopping in pilsners, lagers, and pale ales.
It is particularly well suited for modern beers where hop aroma is emphasized.
