LalBrew Abbey - Belgian Style Dry Ale Yeast - Lallemand
LalBrew Abbaye is a top-fermented beer yeast from Belgium. This yeast was selected for its tremendous ability to ferment Belgian-style beers with low or high alcohol content. LalBrew Abbaye produces the spicy and fruity aromas typical of Belgian and Trappist style beers. When yeast ferments at higher temperatures, it releases characteristic flavors and aromas, including notes of tropical fruit, spice and banana. Conversely, at a cooler temperature, LalBrew Abbaye produces darker fruit aromas and flavors of raisins, dates and figs. Traditional styles brewed with this yeast include, Belgian Whites, Belgian Blondes, Belgian Golden Strong Ale, Dubbels, Tripels and Quads.
Ideal fermentation temperature: 17-25°C
Alcohol tolerance: 14%
