Innomalt malted red wheat provides a sweet, malty and smooth taste to beers. Pale in color, it brings a slight straw yellow tint. This wheat malt can be used in part or in full as base malt. It is often used in traditional styles of wheat beers like Weizens and Witbiers. If its use exceeds 50%, consider using rice husk for effective filtration.
