Named in honor of the god of fertility in Slavic mythology, Jarrylo is a dwarf variety developed by ADHA. Its origins include Summit hops as well as other varieties developed by ADHA. It can be used as a dual-purpose hop since its bittering potential is powerful, but its high content of essential oils (particularly humulene and myrcene) and its unique aromas are well suited to hopping at the end of the boil, whirlpool or cold hopping (dry hop) for pale ale, IPA, saison and Belgian beers.
