Bairds Medium Caramalt is the most popular caramel malt from this UK-based malt house. Its ability to create a beautiful golden color hue and impart a sweet malt, tofee, burnt sugar and raisin taste to ales and lagers makes it very popular with brewers. Like all caramel (or crystal) malts, it leaves residual sugars that contribute to the body as well as the mouthfeel.

Imparts sweet, toffee, caramel, burnt sugar, raisin flavours and a golden light flavour.
