Zappa hops are a 100% Neomexicanus variety that pays tribute to the late singer Frank Zappa. It was discovered in the wild in the mountains of the state of New Mexico. Unlike other hop cones, the Zappa is easily recognized by its pungent looking "ruffled" cone.

It can be used aromatically in the whirlpool or as a dry hop in any beer where the fruity aspect wants to be highlighted.
