LalBrew Wit - Belgian Wit-Style Dry Yeast - Lallemand
LalBrew Wit is a white ale yeast strain with a relatively neutral flavor profile that can be used to produce a wide variety of styles. LalBrew Wit produces lower levels of esters and phenols compared to traditional hefeweizen strains such as LalBrew Munich Classic.
LalBrew Wit provides a basic banana and spice flavor profile, but leaves room for the brewer to introduce other spice additions typical of Belgian beers. Traditional styles brewed with this yeast include, but are not limited to, Belgian Witbier, American Wheat, Berliner Weisse, Gose, Hefeweizen, Dunkelweis, and Weizenbock.
