Moutere hop is a new variety, first released in 2015. Formerly known as HORT 0605, it is a cross between Southern Cross and an unnamed male. Moutere is a powerful hop with strong aromas of tropical fruits, ripe citrus and pine resin. Some brewers detect hay aromas that fit well into Pilsner or Saison.
