Although Southern Passion hop is grown in South Africa, it's genetic roots can be traced back to Europe. It is the result of a cross between the Czech Saaz and the German Hallertau. Both unique and complex, Southern Passion delivers flavors of ripe tropical fruit such as passion fruit, guava and coconut along with hints of citrus and red berries. Southern Passion is an excellent choice for a variety of beer styles like lightly hopped Session IPAs as well as American pale ales and Belgian triple and saison type ales.

Aromas: Sweet fruits, berries, black currants, citrus fruits.
